The PSSA Prep Season is underway. We kicked things off right with an amazing Pep Rally where our BuZy Bee was joined by our friend Buzzbee from our local B101 Radio Station!! BuzzBee helped to entertain and coach our students as they participated in an exciting game of "Are You Smarter Than Your Teacher". Students battled Ms. Meier, Ms. Claxon, Ms. Turner and Ms. McConnell! This game helped not only the contestants review good test preparations but the entire school! Our students were victorious, proving that they are definitely on the road to scoring ADVANCED on the PSSA's in April!
Our student participant were awarded with a B101 Radio Prize Bag and each student received a B101 Tattoo featuring our new friend Buzzbee.
During the pep rally, we took a short commercial break to watch our new PSSA Rock the Test Video! This video was created by students from each grade, featuring the voices of our 6th grade class! This video can be viewed on Dobson's new School Tube Channel.We finished off our pep rally by singing some of our oldie but goodie PSSA Songs like the PSSA (YMCA) and I'm a BEE! All of the students are ready and raring to go!
Each class from Kindergarten through 8th grade made a PSSA BuZy Bee Promise. From practicing First In Math each day, to promising to arrive at school each day on time, these promises will definitely help guide each class through this preparation process!
