Lots of exciting events have happened in this past week!
Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast this past weekend
causing wide spread damage, loss of electricity, toppled trees, and two days
off from school. I think we’ve all made
memories during that record-breaking storm the we won’t soon forget.
The Lower School Halloween Parade,
sponsored by our Home and School was held on Wednesday Afternoon! There were many
creepy, spooky, and a few hilarious costumes, some beautiful butterflies and
princesses and even a washer and a drier!
In other news, the Fall Dance this year was a great success! Another
thank you to the Home and School and to all those who helped put together that
amazing playlist including “Call Me Maybe”, “Party Rock Anthem”, and “Gangnam
Style”!
Today was the first Student Of The
Moth assembly of the 2012-2013! A big congratulations to all those who made
student of the month for the month of October.
A list of the students recognized in the assembly will be posted soon.
