Our annual Cherrydale Fundraiser is underway!  The kick off assembly help last Thursday, September 27th.  Ask your students about how they can earn great prizes!

Wednesday, October 3rd

• Drop Everything And Read!
• Walk to School Day!
• Wednesday is National Walk to School day. Please inform your walkers that our Crossing Guards will be giving out tickets to those students who exhibit respect for safety protocols while walking to school, including following the directions of the crossing guards the first time given.

Thursday, October 4th

• Dance Team Auditions After School 3:15-4:30pm
• Home and School Meeting at 3:15pm.

 New Cinderella Calendars for October were given out on Friday by Ms. Tierney.  Additional copies are available on the Cinderella Bulletin Board.

Welcome Back to School!!

Friday, September 7th will be the first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year.  The faculty and staff has been preparing all well to welcome back may new and familiar faces.  The first day of school will be a HALF DAY FOR STUDENTS in 1st through 8th grade.  Students will be dismissed at 12:10pm. 

James Dobson Welcomes New Families at Open House

The Home and School Association will be hosting an informal Open House specifically for new families entering Dobson this fall. This will take place on Wednesday, September 5th.

Attendees can come anytime between 4pm and 5:45pm to meet members of our faculty and tour the facilities. They will have the opportunity to have questions answered as well as learn more about the Home and School Association. Light refreshments will be served.

We can't wait to meet our new families!
