BRAVO!! High School Musical Jr. Packs A Punch!

To say this week at Dobson has been jam-packed would be an understatement.  The annual Art Show set up and Show/Sale and the final rehearsals and performances of High School Musical Jr. concluded on Wednesday, May 23rd.

Almost 300 proud family members, friends and faculty passed through the doors of Dobson to view the wonderful art and fantastic performance.  Congratulations to Ms. Purcell and the Dobson students on a great art show.

High School Musical Jr. brought down the house as it "Broke Free" on the Dobson Stage.  58 cast and crew members came together to put on a powerhouse of a performance.  Rehearsing hard since January, "We're All In This Together" was truly the theme of this production process.  Ms. Tierney and Ms. Plumley can't begin to describe how proud they are of the student's dedication and hard work.  Congratulations to our 8th grade cast and crew members.  To Imani, Keyara, Becca, A'Jahnae, Grayson, Josh, David and Trevor, we wish you all the best in High School.  The Dobson Stage will definitely miss your abundant talents, humor and smiles.  Please take a minute to look at some pictures from their performance!

A big thank you to the Home and School for helping to coordinate our concessions and t-shirts again this year.  We really appreciate all that you do.  Thank you to the faculty for allowing us to borrow the students this week! We couldn't have pulled this off without you.
